What will be the length of my movie?

The Ceremony will run about 30 minutes. The Reception 45 minutes to one hour. When we meet, I will ask you several questions about your expectations that will help to determine how we edit your final movie, and thus, its final length.

When will my video be ready?

We aim at a completion within 4 weeks, but sometimes we can get very busy and it can be longer. For that reason I cannot guarantee a specific time.

May I pick the music for the video?

Of course you can. In several of our packages there are places that we use background music. You will have the opportunity to tell us the songs you wish included or to tell us the kind of music you like and we will pick out something appropriate.

Can I make extra copies of the DVD?

Yes you may. We retain the copyright, but you may make copies for yourself. However, be aware that second generation copies, especially from VHS format, show deterioration of quality. We provide copies at a low price and our copies are always from the digital mastered tape.

There are a few restrictions on how you may use your video. You may not re-sell the video or use it in any way other than for your personal use. In other words, you can't put it on a web site or give it/sell it to another video editor.

What if I want to change something in my video?

When we finish, we will send you a proof of your wedding video. You will have 2 weeks to review it and make sure the spelling is right and we have lived up to the contract. If we have made a mistake by not following the contract or made a glaring editing error, then we will make the change free of charge However, if it is a matter of artistic difference or a concern that is not spelled out in the information sheet, then we charge our normal hourly rate for changes.

Can still pictures be made from my videotape?

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is still yes, but we can't make them larger than 5 x 7, and smaller is better. Digital video is much sharper than the VHS video, but is still not as high resolution as professional photographs. That doesn't mean you can't get a good printout of a single frame of digital video. We will gladly print out any frames at a nominal cost
