Here are a few reasons we have heard from brides and grooms.
"We saw things we totally missed because we were so caught up in the events."
"I want to show this to my kids."
"See the way he looks at me. That just melts me."
"Watch, I can too dance."
Why video tape your wedding? Becasue photography cannot capture the movement, the sounds, the dance, the way you kiss, the tender words, the rousing toast, the cheers of guests, the vows, your father's nervous laugh, mom wiping her eyes, a confused flower girl coming down the aisle, walking in your gown, the sound of the string quartet, and a million more happenings. Photography has a valuable place at your wedding, but it can't take the place of Video.
Well, have you actually seen any of your Uncle's video? Does he use a tripod? Wireless microphones to capture the vows? Does he even know how to edit? There's a big difference between a professonal wedding video and your uncle's video.
There is no substitute for a professional who comes prepared with the right knowledge and equipment, respects the rules of your ceremony, and is focused on creating your video and is not there to "party." We are not participants, we are observers. We know what to watch for and how to shoot it. We know how to edit it to make the best video. By the way, are you using a professional caterer? DJ? cake decorator? photographer?
